Luc is a 22 year old girl living somewhere in one of the 7,107 islands of the Philippines. She loves graphic arts, web design, css, anime or manga or japanese series (as long as the writer is japanese), gaming, tech, and nissin cup noodles (again it’s the one from japan).
Fine! It’s just me talking here in a not so normal way, acting like I have someone to present me or something. Let me introduce myself like normal people do.
My name is Luc. I’m the web designer from Weevox.com. It’s my site which showcases the designs I’ve created in the past 4 years and upto the present. I design with Photoshop, Dreamweaver, XHTML/CSS, and with my noodles (not really into coffee) .And now I’m also the blogger of this new site I call Octwelve (ok-twelv).
What is Octwelve?
Octwelve is my personal blog, a crib on the world wide web, a journal where I will post and share my interests, thoughts, experiences and some stuff that might be useful for you hopefully. Note though that I’m not a guru or any sort of. I also look forward to having this blog as a tool to learn new things. Octwelve means October 12-it’s the date when Weevox first came online 4 years ago. It has nothing to do with Ocean’s Twelve. :S
Why I decided to blog?
It wasn’t planned at all. I just feel so uninspired. I couldn’t finish a design for a client. So I created one for myself instead. The design came out nicely and I’m really happy about it! I also worked on customizing the WordPress theme and it seems to be working! Yay! I’ve always wanted to learn WordPress theming but I just didn’t have enough time. This is the second theme I’ve created based on the Cutline theme by Chris Person. So hey, if you need a blog design, mail me! ;) Btw, I also draw the character which is suppose to be me. It’s kinda crappy but I made it so I like it :P ! I really had fun doing this whole project. I hope I’d be able to keep this rolling while working for Weevox.
If you have any feedback or questions, I’d definitely love to hear it.
See you around!
PS: Thanks Jeff of Livney+Partners (whom I also work with) for always being so generous in hosting my sites :) Never had any single problem with the server! ;)
