This is my daily routine as a 9-6 designer (yeah 9-6 here in SG). It’s quite tiring. So which one do I prefer-being a freelancer or an office junkie…?
Will post some other time, I’m sooo tired, I’m an office junkie :P

I know the feeling entirely! Only I work 7-4 so that I can get off early and work on those side projects and develop my freelancing career.
I can’t wait for the day that I give my two weeks notice :D
The grind that a lot of us are facing should be all the more motivation to drive ourselves to become freelancers!

9-6 is not bad, I think it’s better than mine Luc. I work 3pm-12:30am hehe.
Keep me updated about your recent escapades in SG. ^_^

I know what that feels like. It’s funny, when I’m working on something I’m excited about, I don’t notice hunger, but when I’m not excited about a project I’m hungry all the time…
=)

Hi Jimmy,
Thanks for your comment. Employee or freelancer, both have their pros and cons. I think I enjoy myself more as an employee because of the people around, the collaboration, the new things I learn, the “good job” i get, the constructive criticism.
Take note guys, this is my first employment ever and I’ve only been working here for 2 months. Let’s see if I’d still enjoy myself in the next few months ^_^

Yoh daemonx,
Yeah, it’s not that bad. I feel bad sometimes that I rant about this when there are so many people out there who would do anything for a decent job.
Love your work!! And be grateful for everything you’re blessed with ^_^

Hey Carlos,
Me too actually. I forget about meals when I’m very interested on whatever I’m working on.
Thanks for everyone who’s still following my blog :)

Reminds me of my “ex” work routine with a web hosting company. Only I drove instead of taking a train…and sometimes was stuck in traffic for a good 20 minutes!
I feel your pain, but I rather be an office junkie then a freelancer…I get easily distracted at home…haha!

Atleast you are doing something you are passionate about right…..imagine the millions stuck in 9-5 jobs which they despise.
