Being an employee drains out a lot of energy. And if I become an employee and a freelancer at the same time, it will also gonna drain out my sanity. Because of this, I won’t be able to take on freelance projects…at least not at the moment.
This lifestyle is totally different. But I decided to give more time for myself and chill out.
I’m terribly sorry if I wasn’t able to get back to you if you contacted me for a quote.
I’ve received some FAQ and here’s my answer.
Q: Are you looking for employment?
A: No, I’m not. I’m already employed.
Q: Do you have time to work on our website?
A: Not much, but it depends how much you’re willing to pay me ^_^
Q: Can you do our website in exchange for free hosting or link because we’re quite popular?
A: No thanks. Unfortunately, my landlord doesn’t accept free hosting or link exchange as a payment.
Q: When will you be available?
A: Honestly, I don’t know. Time is off my hands now. Occassionally, I’ll be available and I’ll definitely give a shout.
I hope you don’t forget Luc, your friendly neighborhood designer. She’ll be back once in a while to work on your site. For the meantime, let her chill :)

Hmm I’m a bit suspect about this post, the fact that you would still accept jobs if they were paying high prices means that you still are wanting work on the side. Is the work your getting too low for your liking?
What are the actual reasons for stopping all freelance work? I have a 3 year old son and I still do work on the side even though I’m totally exhausted afterwards, either way i will always seek additional work to further myself.

Hi Max,
How do I say this…It’s not low to my liking but if I can get an offer more than what I usually have, something that’s really worth giving my time to, then why not.
After office hours, I just want to have a rest. Working on the side is great for the extra income. But I find myself working even on weekends. I can’t even find time to do things that I love to do and I don’t get to enjoy my stay here in Singapore at all.
The only reason i’m stopping freelance work for the meantime is…I need a break to keep myself happy…

Agree too! I love any extra work i can get on the side, the downside like you say is the workload that it intakes and the fact that its all in your own personal time. I hope you get all the rest you can now that ya taking a break, do you have ideas what you will be doing with all your free time?

Before I stumbled into the freelance world, I never thought I would hear someone say that they were going to get a job to have more free time (and totally understand it)!
Haha, enjoy Singapore!
