I finally gave in and got myself an early present…a shiny new MacBook Pro! ^_^

My gigantic desktop replacement laptop is too big for me now. I seldom use it for graphic design anymore. What I need now is a lightweight and powerful laptop for blogging, browsing, graphic design, and something I can bring along when meeting a client. What I need now is a portable computer!
I think the MacBook Pro 13” is right on for me.
There are many powerful and cheap laptops out there that can give me what I need…STOP! – I heard that quackery before! hihi
Maybe it’s some kind of a designer or geek intuition that I’d be better with a Mac. I switched to Mac even if I’ve never used one before for 3 reasons:
- I love the design. I love the simplicity. The minimalist design looks cool and elegant as well. It’s slim and lightweight.
- Designers I look up to use Macs ☺ I have to find out myself why. Does Mac make you a better designer? Not really. But as a designer, I like all things beautiful. I tell you, you’ll be more productive if you are happy with your equipment and surrounding.
- Great support. I’m very happy with the support I get from Apple. I kinda feel safe if it’s Apple. I think it’s less troublesome than PC.
I’ll post a MacBook Pro 13” review later on.
