How to transfer files from Mac to Samsung Galaxy Tab [BEST SOLUTION]

Who you are:
You are… like me! A Mac user who has to deal with an android device – a 7″ Galaxy Tab

What’s your problem:
Same as mine! Really getting frustrated on how to transfer files from Mac OS X to Galaxy Tab’s internal storage

What you’ve tried:
An older version of Kies
An official installer from Android for Mac
Hacks and cracks

I’ve tried these too, excepts for the cracks and hacks. But I’m telling you, none of this works.

It’s really easy guys! Here’s how!

How to connect the Samsung Galaxy Tab to Mac OS X and Transfer Files

Go to Settings > Wireless & Network > USB and select Mass Storage
Now connect your Galaxy tab USB to your Mac. And tadaa! Now you’ll see the drive for it and you can start dragging your files.

I feel kinda dumb it took me ages to figure out. But there are 9 million searches of this problem. Who would’ve known a USB storage setting will be inside the Wireless and Network Settings =S

Anyway, hope that helps! :)

For Sale: Razer Copperhead Mouse

Hi guys! Anyone interested in Razer Copperhead mouse? I recently bought this but I think it’s quite big for my hands. This is brand new. I just opened it for testing. I’m now selling it for S$69 only. Original price is $89. Still have 1 year warranty from shop.

This doesn’t have a Mac compatibility seal but it does work in Macs for standard use. It’s very fast at 2000dpi and very precise too. It’s very good for graphic design works, not just for gaming. The one i use in the office is Razer Krait. I’ve been using it for 3 years already and still works perfectly! If only my hands are a little bigger for Copperhead!

Productive Breaks

My blog isn’t dead. I’m just taking productive breaks :). As always, I’m preoccupied with my day job. I realized this structured office life has been going on for 3 years. It’s quite difficult to sustain passion when it’s draining all your energy. So, I strictly finish and leave work in office and get a life after 6. However, by doing this, seems like I’m not learning anything new. I’m stuck with my roles and responsibilities in the office.

Soooo, I decided to make time for studying and enrolled myself in Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts. I’m currently taking short courses of multimedia arts during the night. Going home around 10 pm feels zen. No traffic jam, no crowds, just me sitting in the upper deck of the bus with my book.

There are 3 things that’s keeping me right now. Work, School, and Cityville. :P

Can’t install Tweetdeck and Adobe Air on Mac? Here’s how!

I run into this problem when I tried to install Tweetdeck app on my new macbook pro with Mac OS X 10.6.4 Snow Leopard. Adobe Air installation is required before you can install Tweetdeck on any computer. I can install both Adobe Air and Tweetdeck, but when I open Tweetdeck, it shows up an error that Adobe Air is damaged blah blah blah.

I asked for support from Adobe’s forum and after 22 days of waiting, they sent me an applescript which solved the problem.

It’s been 7 months since I wrote something in my blog. And it’s been 1 year and 4 months since I joined Comnet here in Singapore. It’s been a busy year for me. No wonder I can’t even update my blog. Even though, being an employee is not as comfortable as being a freelancer, what i can say is, I’m happy here. It’s the people around me, the colleagues, friends, the good and evil clients that you have to deal with, the feeling that people are relying on you, that you are an important player in the team, the joy we share whenever WE did a good job for a project, the knowledge that we pass on each other, and ofcourse, the craziness in the office! These are the things that I didn’t have when I was working alone as a freelancer.

My goal is to learn as many things as possible and be more effective with my work. How I wish I can free up some more time to study, blog, take photos with L. And how I wish to to have more salary so I’ll be even more happier hahaha! ^_^

Woohooo! I did it guys! This is the biggest recognition Octwelve has ever had and ofcourse it’s the most special because it’s from my homeland. I really wish I was there at the event. Thing is I didn’t receive a notice earlier. If I only knew I could’ve booked just for the event. So shall I give my thank you speech here instead ^_^.

Thanks to my followers for your support specially Jokay and Joni for their effort to vote for me for the People’s Choice Award hehe. Unfortunately, we didn’t make it to that award girls. But thanks a lot!! I’m really flattered. It really makes my day whenever I receive emails of compliments. And I’m really glad to know that I inspire some people and make some fellow filipino designers proud of me.You know these kind of words really gives me the motivation to continue what I’m doing.
